Terms

What you're buying

A position on a public board, priced by what you pay for it. These terms cover the rest.

01What a payment buys

A position on the leaderboard, held for as long as nobody pays more, and a link that sends visitors to your app. Nothing else is promised: not a number of visitors, not a duration, not a minimum rank.

The mechanics — how rank is decided, how ties break, how topping up works — are in the rules, which form part of these terms.

02Placement is paid

Positions are paid placements or disclosed imported historical baselines. They are not editorial recommendations, reviews or endorsements. No listing has been independently evaluated for quality. Paid sponsorship is a separate section.

03Payments

Each bid costs $1. Each repeat payment adds $1 to the existing listing total. This is a one-time payment, with no automatic renewal. Any applicable tax and the final payable total are shown by the payment provider at checkout.

Your position changes only once a payment settles. Opening a checkout and abandoning it costs nothing and does nothing.

04Refunds

Payments are final. Being outbid is not grounds for a refund — it is the product working exactly as described.

The one exception is a listing removed by moderation, which is refunded in full.

05What you promise

That you have the right to submit the app you are listing, that the link points at what it claims to, and that the content is not malware, a scam, adult material, an impersonation of someone else, or otherwise illegal.

06Removal

We remove listings that break the rule above, and refund them. We may also correct a listing's name, description or icon when automatic resolution has got them wrong.

We are not obliged to explain a removal beyond citing which rule it broke, and we do not remove listings for being disliked, competing with us, or being unpopular.

07Availability

This is a small site run by one person. It may be slow, briefly unavailable, or occasionally wrong. If it goes down while your listing is up, your position is still there when it comes back — rank is stored, not rented by the minute.

08Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the listing in question. We are not responsible for what a listed app does, for business you did or didn't get from a position, or for a rank you lost because somebody paid more.

09Changes

If these terms or the rules change in a way that affects positions already paid for, existing listings keep the terms they were bought under.

IAPP is operated as a single-person project. For anything not covered here, get in touch and we will sort it out like reasonable people.
